  Hidden Worlds.

The above video is culmination of my learnt skills during this course. In this video I have employed photographic skills such as filling the frame, the rule of thirds and leading lines to create my film aswell as using newly learnt editing skills such as J - Cuts. I have edited this film within Adobe Premiere and Adobe After Effects applying colour grades and cinematic effects to enhance the look of my film. I have also edited the film in a 2:1 aspect ratio to give the perception of a wider field of view and a more cinematic frame.

The clips that were shot were done so on a tripod and shot on a Panasonic AC-90. This camera was easy to configure as I had used it before and so adjusting elements such as aperture and shutter speed came with relative ease. The film focused on aspects our lives that we do not regularly see in our everyday lives ranging from shadows on the ground to railings, alleyways and cars travelling in the street.

The film edit was later revised to incorporate skills I had learnt from a following module, incorporating sounds to fit in with the on screen occurrences, adding film reel and crackling sound effects to give the film a more 'retro' feature. Below are some screenshots from my edit showing how I had composed this piece...
